I am 28 years old living in Central Brighton. I've been chef less than a year but quickly worked my way up too Chef de partie at the George Payne in Hove. I originally went in to kp but by the end of my first day got offered the commis role and after six months got promoted to chef de partie, unfortunately I had to quit due to the kitchen being severely understaffed. Now I'm hungry to learn and progress as a chef! Before Lock down I was a plasterer for about 5 years and after lockdown ended I decided to make a change. I never imagined myself being in a kitchen but I've got a new found love for cooking and absolutely love working with food!
